What are STEAM Challenge Events?

STEAM Challenge Events are large-scale, one or two-day, face-to-face ‘hack-style’ open innovation events. They bring together large numbers of stakeholders from across sectors to tackle complex business or social challenges, such as food insecurity, transition to a green economy, or improving city life with technology.

Who is it for?

STEAM Challenge Events work best with multi-stakeholder groups that might include businesses, charities, public sector organisations, academics, and citizens. These diverse perspectives are essential to developing meaningful outcomes, so participants should be representative of backgrounds and disciplines from across the STEAM spectrum.

How we can help

Align stakeholders and build relationships

We create a process that enables participants to define and prioritise problems, align on a common goal, and speed up decision-making.

Uncover opportunities

Problem solve collaboratively and rapidly in a neutral environment with people from across disciplines.

Explore new ways of thinking

We enable teams to sort, prioritise and validate their ideas before envisioning where they want to be in future.
