14:00pm - 15:00pm

STEAMhouse, Belmont Works, Cardigan St, Birmingham B4 7RQ

Join Chloe Frost, Trends Editor from Stylus to learn about what trends are, how they are made, and how and why they’re used.

Stylus, a leading trend forecasting and analysis agency, is joining us to find out how trends are discovered and how you can leverage them in your own business.

As an integral part of its Colour & Materials team, Chloe covers colour, material and finish trends and innovations across the creative industries. She provides creative insight on seasonal visual directions – forecasting colour palettes two years in advance – and tracks changes, new talent and emerging brands in the art, design and cultural landscapes. She is also a Stylus Wraparound Wellness guardian, optimising colour- and materials-focused wellbeing content.

Chloe will be shedding some light on the trend forecasting sector, explaining what trends are, how they are made, and how and why they are used. She’ll touch on global macro trends, lifecycles and design forecasts, and provide examples of such trends in practice.
