Learn how you can better understand your customer and their needs through the “Jobs to be done” method.

Wish you had better customer insights to inform your business strategy?

 

This workshop will provide you with practical tools that you can adopt to better understand your customer and their needs – helping you in the design of new products or services and effective marketing to these to customers.

The workshop will delve into the tools and techniques of Customer Discovery with a special focus on the “Jobs To Be Done” method. Whether you are familiar with Customer Discovery or not, this workshop will bring new insights, tools and techniques to your customer insight toolkit so you can build a better business strategy.

John Holmes – Managing Director at Advantage Creative.

John comes from a creative industries background, with over 20 years of senior management experience across theatres, festivals, tourism and events marketing. John represents Advantage Creative on a wide range of investor networks, and supports founders to develop their business growth strategy and pitch for investment.

 

Tas Tapeinopoulos – Programme Officer at STEAMhouse

Tas is an accomplished project manager and proposal designer with extensive experience in overseeing co-funded projects focused on Innovation, Employability, and Regional Development. With a proven track record, Tas has adeptly crafted, managed, and evaluated program structures tailored for Territorial Collaboration within combined authorities and countries spanning the Balkan and Black Sea regions. At STEAMhouse, Birmingham City University’s Innovation Centre, Tas plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between students and the innovative world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Collaborating closely with academics, Tas integrates STEAM pedagogy and creativity into the curriculum, empowering students to delve into the realms of open innovation, transdisciplinary collaboration, and human-centered design. Tas’s proactive approach extends across all faculties and colleges, fostering meaningful links and partnerships between students and academics through effective communication and an ethos of openness.
