Are you a start-up, currently looking to start your business or small business looking for funding to grow or launch a new project? Have you considered applying for grants but not sure where to start?
Business grants are a crucial source of government funding for many local firms. They can be essential in getting a new capital development off the ground or developing innovative solutions to solve some of society’s hardest challenges.
This course aims to simplify the grant application process and help you get your business grant ready.
What will I learn from this event?
- Understand the basic principles of grant funding.
- Learn how to apply the seven-step grant writing process.
- Understand how and where to spot grant opportunities.
- Avoid common mistakes and pitfalls.
- Create a grant-ready action plan.
Workshop running order
- 9:30 to 10:00am – Registration opens and refreshments
- 10:00 to 12:00 – Masterclass in winning grants workshop
- 12:00 to 13:00 – Light lunch, refreshments and networking
Location details
The workshop is located on the ground floor of Millennium Point, opposite the ThinkTank museum. If you are entering from the car park, there are both lifts and stairs available.
