Online event

How can I reach new audiences on social media without spending a penny – Friday 18th March – 14:00 – 15:30

Please note: This is the second of four social media workshops taking place with David Glenwright whose social media and marketing expertise will help you in developing your social media skills.

For many businesses, paid advertising has become a core part of their social media strategies, to a point where some question whether it is even possible for a business to be successful online without an ads budget. Fortunately, despite the benefits that paid campaigns can bring, with an investment of time there are still a number of ways to build an audience organically, and connect with potential customers without reaching into your pockets.

In this 90 minute session, we will:

• Explore the role that organic activity still plays in social strategies

• Look closely at the social media algorithms and how they can be manipulated to improve post performance

• Discuss how to find groups and communities, and best practice for posting into them
