IPAs an innovative company or entrepreneur, you have an innovative proposition which has the potential to make an impact. You will need to have some form of intellectual property (IP) – whether it be trademarks, patentable inventions, copyright, designs or know-how. IP assets can add great value to your company if they are correctly identified, managed, protected and exploited, particularly when working in collaborative and grant funded projects. This session is a primer on what you need to know about IP so that you can extract the maximum value from it and avoid falling prey to common pitfalls that can beset early-stage companies.
As a follow-up, we are pleased to offer tailored 1-2-1 individual appointments (30 mins approx.) so that you can ask specific questions, or simply have an IP “health-check” to ensure everything is in order. These will take place online on Friday, 17 December – from 2pm – 5pm.
