Do you need support to be more sustainable? Are you interested in accessing materials from different waste streams?

BASIS is a fully funded business support initiative being delivered in Birmingham, Solihull and surrounding areas.

The marketplace in which we all work is an ever-changing feast, with far more pressure from customers now being exerted on companies to be able to demonstrate their environmental and carbon management credentials in a ‘net zero’ world. Building sustainability into your business model from the outset will give you a competitive edge as your company begins to grow.

BASIS aims to provide businesses of all shapes and sizes, including start-ups, with free consultancy advice on how to minimise their material and carbon impacts and position themselves to take advantage of ever more demanding clients. BASIS can provide a wide range of resource efficiency support from writing your company an environment policy to use in bids and on your website, identifying ways in which you can reduce your energy bills, and minimising your process waste production costs.

One of the main focus areas of their support is matching companies together to create links where one business’ waste can become another’s valuable raw material input. This creates opportunities for sourcing low cost, to no cost raw materials which can be ideal for prototyping and much more.

If you’re interested in finding out how they can help you with free, bespoke support then join this online session where you’ll find out how their team of industry experts can assist you on your journey to becoming a more carbon literate and cost-effective business.
