Three STEAMhouse create members showcase their projects. Come and network over lunch with the STEAMhouse community and BCU Academics
About this event:
BCU STEAMhouse is a centre for creative collaboration. Part of its remit is to build and nurture an inter-disciplinary community of businesses, artists and academics. The aim is to help to encourage innovative responses to the needs of our students, employers and citizens of the West Midlands Region.
Participants of this workshop will have an opportunity to network with STEAMhouse members as well as with BCU Academic Staff from across our Faculties and schools.
We will also be introducing the work of three STEAMhouse create members. All of these are local women who are developing innovative business ideas in association with STEAMhouse. Whilst the focus of their projects is very diverse they share a commitment to promoting better cross-cultural understanding and communication – themes that are vital to the STEAMhouse mission.
Who is this showcase for?
If you have an innovative idea but not sure how to make it a reality, come and listen to these three entrepreneurs who challenged themselves, produced a new product and worked in collaboration with academics, STEAMhouse members and other businesses to support them in taking the next necessary steps. No-one said it would be easy!
