Patricia Colden is a Fellow of the CIPD and a freelance HR Consultant (trading as Colden HR Ltd). With more than 20 years’ professional experience, Patricia provides HR support and training to employers in a range of business sectors with a special interest in SMEs and start up businesses.
As small businesses become successful and start to grow, it can be difficult to do everything required without any back up in the form of staff but many small businesses simply don’t know where to begin in taking this crucial step. In this one hour session, Patricia will review the risks and rewards of employing staff for the first time and take us through a practical, step by step approach to working out what staff you need, how you should recruit them and then manage them so you secure the most from your investment.
