Many companies choose not to patent their IP, but are they missing out on the benefits of holding Patents?

This live workshop, hosted by Nicholas Ferrar of Adamson Jones and Peter Corley of Gateley Capitus, will look at what a patents are and what can be patented. It will take you through the stages from idea to having a patent granted and the protection this provides.

We will also provide more detail on the potential tax savings from holding a patent, through to using the government’s Patent Box scheme.

This workshop will answer many of the popular questions raised when patents are discussed:

-How do I know someone isn’t going to steal my idea?

-Why bother filing a patent application?  I hear patents cost a lot to defend.

-How much is all this going to cost?

-Can I patent software?

-It’s a large cost for no benefit.

This presentation is in partnership with Gateley PLC.
