David Baker, Invest Associate, Mercia Asset Management plc will be running a number of small interactive workshops aimed at different knowledge levels – from zero knowledge wanting to better understand, to in depth discussions on what SMEs need to know about investors.

About the Speaker
David Baker is an Investment Associate at Mercia Asset Management plc. with a focus on investing in proof of concept and early-stage businesses as part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.
David also provides support to several companies within Mercia Asset Management’s wider portfolio. Prior to joining Mercia, David worked at Blue Sky Corporate Finance in an advisory role, assisting small and medium-sized businesses with a variety of transactions such as raising investment and selling their company. He previously worked as a business manager for HSBC Bank, providing debt-based finance to a portfolio of clients.
