This four week, hands on short course has been designed for businesses who are developing the branding and visual identity of their business, products or services.
In this first session we’ll look at the foundations of great graphic design – specifically brand identities and visual language. A mixture of theory and practise, we’ll explore how a brand becomes successful with some real world examples – and think about how to implement those lessons.
Brands don’t just arrive fully formed – they’re dragged into existence often kicking and screaming! In this session we’re going to look at laying strong foundations, considering different strategies, techniques to have great ideas, and what position your brand fills in the hearts and minds of consumers.
How do you go from a great idea to compelling executions? We’ll explore what happens in that gap and how to close it with techniques and processes to help you build the brand you want to have.
Brands live or die in the real world, not just on the page – in this final session we’ll look at how to create communications that work – whether promotional, packaging or people related executions.
STEAMhouse’s programmes are fully funded. Spaces on this workshop are limited and priority will be given to self-employed sole traders and people with their own businesses who have a product idea they would like to develop.
