This informative and practical two day workshop is designed for people who want to prototype and produce clothing and apparel.
Learn how to put together your own Technical Specification Packs and get an overview of the development and production process from start to finish. This will be an interactive short course, suitable for people with a range of experience, including start ups.
STEAMhouse’s programmes are fully funded. Spaces on this workshop are limited and priority will be given to self-employed sole traders and people with their own businesses who have a product idea they would like to develop.

As an experienced designer and product developer, Erica works with Universities across the Midlands sharing her skills and industry insight. Delivering lectures on pattern cutting, design, CAD drawing and technical specifications. Erica works with brands in a freelance capacity designing, producing tech packs and managing the product development and production process, for both, larger more established brands and start-ups who face a unique set of challenges when producing in small quantities. She is also the owner of CAD for Fashion, a service that teaches CAD software to the fashion industry, the software is used heavily in the design and development process in Fashion and Accessory design and Erica is fast becoming a person of influence in this subject area.
