What are STEAM Labs?

Our STEAM Lab workshops provide a space to play, experiment and collaborate with industry-leading practitioners working across science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. They’re focused process, exploration and learning rather than a specific outcome.

We’ve hosted STEAM Labs in partnership with specialists from all over the country to help people explore topics such as Uncertainty, Post-Humanism, Graffiti Culture and Artificial Intelligence.

Testimonials

It was amazing, thank you. I had to wait decades for that workshop, I was literally just telling my colleagues about it, it was such food for thought.

Who’s it for?

STEAM Labs are for individuals and organisations who are curious about how to approach some of the most urgent conversations of our time such as sustainability, digital transformation and creativity.

Every STEAM Lab is a unique opportunity to escape the office and gain valuable fresh perspectives to bring to your work projects. Participants explore topics and play with creative thinking tools rarely encountered in day-to-day work.

How can STEAM Labs help?

EXPERIMENT WITH NEW METHODS

Participants learn future-facing thinking from inspiring speakers working at the forefront of their industry.

ENGAGE WITH LATEST THINKING

Every STEAM Lab is different but each one is informed by the practice of leading specialists from across science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

TAKE TIME OUT TO PLAY

STEAM Labs provide a space to play, experiment, and collaborate with new people. They focus on process and learning, rather than outcome, inspiring conversation about collaboration across disciplines.
