From 3D printers to laser cutters, and CNC-cutting in wood and metal, we make it easy to start or speed up your Digital Manufacturing journey, and with our specialist team on hand, you’ll quickly get the measure of the basics so you can start experimenting with possibilities.
If you’re ready to get going already, we’re set up to 3D print in resin, castable wax, nylon, PLA, clay and more – everything you need to develop production-ready prototypes in the material of your choice.
A first-of-its-kind space in Birmingham, our Biomaterials lab is set up for experimentation and exploration, so you can start making healthier and more sustainable materials using simple techniques. Discover the possibilities of alternative materials made from mycelium, coffee grounds, eggs shells and more. Our Biomaterials lab is an open space designed for you to give it a go.
Our materal specialists are on hand to guide your material development along the way, so that we can work together to create a better and more sustainable world.
Our Textiles and Print zone is full to the brim with everthing you need to professionalise your practice, including a large-format silkscreen printing table, exposure unit and washout booth, as well as sublimation and UV printers, heat presses, industrial sewing machines and overlockers.
Whether you’re new to print or need to make production ready prototypes of your work, our team has years of industry experience to support you, however you need.
Our fully-equipped resistant-materials zone is set up with fabrication equipment for hot and cold metalworking, so you can roll, fold, cut, sand, polish, join, and machine in almost any metal.
The Wood zone can support you with everything from prototyping furniture to the production of moulds, jigs, models and maquettes. We’ve got a table saw, bandsaw and planer thicknesser, alongside sanders, a vacuum press and a range of power tools and hand tools – all that’s missing is your curiousity.
