In today’s fast-paced and competitive business environment, start-ups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses need to constantly learn and evolve to stay ahead of the curve.

  • Lack of awareness: Many events are not well-publicised, making it challenging to discover and attend events that could be beneficial.

  • Inadequate resources: New businesses often have limited resources, making it difficult to attend events that require travel or registration fees.

  • Time constraints: As entrepreneurs and small business owners, time is a precious commodity. Finding the time to attend events can be difficult, especially when juggling multiple responsibilities.

  • Finding relevant events: With so many events available, it can be hard to find those that are relevant to a specific business or industry.

  • Geographic limitations: Many events are location-specific, making it difficult for start-ups and entrepreneurs to attend events in other cities or countries.

  • Event quality: Finally, the quality of events can vary widely, making it difficult to know which events are worth attending and which are not.

So, why are events so valuable to new businesses?

Events focusing on new businesses can provide access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise. For example, the events, workshops, and STEAM Labs that we run are led by experts in their respective fields, who can provide valuable insights and advice on how to succeed in business.

It also gives entrepreneurs a chance to meet like-minded individuals who may be able to offer them support, advice, and even potential business partnerships. Collaborating with others can also help entrepreneurs to generate new ideas and perspectives, which can lead to innovative solutions and products.

How can we help?

Every event hosted by STEAMhouse provides valuable knowledge and skills for those looking to grow and succeed in their respective fields. We offer a variety of events every month, covering topics such as marketing, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

At one of our recent “Marketing Masterclass” workshops, we offered practical advice on how to create effective marketing campaigns that resonate with your target audience, and at our “Fundraising Workshop”, we provided insights on how to secure funding for your business.

All of these events, workshops and more are included in our Associate membership. You can access our Business co-working space by day, and in the evening, you can learn more about innovation, entrepreneurship and build your community.
