Chris trained as a jewellery designer/maker and has a post-graduate Master of Arts degree in jewellery and related products. His role at STEAMhouse is to support and encourage members to experiment, try something new and develop their skills and projects.

Before joining STEAMhouse Chris worked as a self-employed jeweller, making and designing for business, jewellery houses and retailers throughout the United Kingdom. He has a wide skillset, ranging from craftbased metalworking skills to knowledge around rapid prototyping, digital design and production processes.

He is particularly interested in the ways communication and creative problem solving can be intertwined through co-working relationships, and in thinking through how to positively harness this power to improve our everyday lives?
