The British Design Fund – Live Practice and Live Pitching Session – Thursday 9th March 2023 – 10.00 – 12.30

 

Knowing how to pitch your start-up ideas effectively is one of the many crucial skills businesses will need to acquire to attract new customers, investment, launch new products/services, develop new partnerships or collaboration opportunities.

Damon Bonser will provide guidance in readiness for you to improve your pitching skills. This interactive session will provide you with the essential ingredients for a successful pitch. It will provide a safe environment for you to get feedback so that you will have some strong takeaways to improve your confidence and approach.

Whether or not, you decide to pitch, you are welcome to attend to watch and learn from the experts. The Experts will hang around for any Q&As, additional idea and approaches that could help to improve your pitch.

About the Facilitators

Damon Bonser

Damon Bonser, Entrepreneur and investor with more than 20 years experience in the creative and manufacturing sectors. Track record across the consumer and industrial product sectors and within both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels. Specialised in launching start-ups and product brands into new markets with a strong background in bootstrapping early-stage businesses through the concept and design stages to production, sales and marketing, ultimately leading to a positive exit event.

Sam is an Economics graduate with experience across the retail and sporting sectors, with particular interest in alternative investment funds and the start-up ecosystem
